“I feel the title was misleading as we did not do any sightseeing, even more so we finished almost 2 hours ahead of time. Our guide who was a nice guy walked us from bar to bar. He made jokes in the bars but did not take us sightseeing as the description promised. We did have a fun group of 14 people all together and the highlight was the beer tasting at a small breweries where they told us about the beer making process.”

“Excellent tour around Gent historical center, including various beers in various places. Our guide Ariël was clearly a true beer enthusiast and expert, and also told nice historical details and stories about the city places that we walked by on our tour. Only bad thing was that there was so much new and interesting information about beer, that I have already forgotten half of it :-)”

“I loved this tour. After seeing all the usual towns, it was great to see more of the countryside of Belgium. A beautiful snack by a river and castle where we walked along a river was so picturesque. Then we took a tour of an underground cavern. Be prepared to wear some sneakers or shoes with a grip and climb quite a few stairs. The tour of the caverns was really spectacular, thenquide was a geologist who was incredibly knowledgeable and also spoke 3 languages fluently. Then we went on to drink some Trappist beer and visit a monastery. Joris the guide had lunch all ready for us after the…”

Taste Ghent’s chocolates, beer, jenever, ham, cheese croquettes, and sweets while hearing local legends on a small-group walking tour.

“Ghent itself is beautiful and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about its history. But this was not a food tour. It was a history walking tour. Over the course of 3.5 hours, we had 1 prosciutto sample, 1 croquette, 1 marzapan candy, 1 Ghent local candy, 3 candy samples from the oldest candy store, we STOPPED at a chocolate store, and then had 3 chocolate tastings from a different chocolate tour. Unfortunately to me, candy isn't food and I was famished. I deliberately didn't eat beforehand assuming I would eat food during the tour, and was left disappointed. Again, the tour guide was professional and the city is beautiful.…”
